Hector Olivencia

Hector Olivencia (born November 28) is a Bronx-born basketball player. He was a collegiate basketball player at Sacred Heart University and played on the Puerto Rico men's national basketball team from 1976 to 1984. He is the father of pro-golfer Janice Olivencia.
Biography
Olivencia was raised in the Bronx, New York City and attended DeWitt Clinton High School. He later attended Sacred Heart University on full scholarship. He was drafted in 1978 by the San Antonio Spurs and moved to Puerto Rico in the 1970s to pursue a basketball career. Olivencia retired from basketball in 1984.
