Heathman is an unincorporated community located in Sunflower County, Mississippi. Heathman is located just off U.S. Route 82 on Heathman Road and approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) west of Indianola and 2 miles (3.2 km) east of Holly Ridge.
The Heathman Plantation is located here.
Heathman is the birthplace of George Washington Lee (1894-1976). Known as "Lieutenant Lee of Beale Street", Lee moved to Memphis, Tennessee where he became a successful author and civic leader.
