Heartbreaks and Earthquakes is the first original mixtape by English recording artist Charli XCX.
Background
The mixtape is compiled of eight tracks on one continuous MP3 file. Between some tracks the mixtape also features excerpts from films The Craft, Kill Bill, Cruel Intentions, Beyond the Black Rainbow, and American Beauty, which also separate the mixtape into four segments. On the same date as the mixtape's (free) release through Charli's website, her debut EP You're the One was released in the US.[1] According to Charli, Heartbreaks and Earthquakes took merely a week to create.
