Hearing protectors

Hearing protectors are devices designed to prevent Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL), a type of post-lingual hearing impairment.

  • Earplug, a device inserted into the ear canal
  • Earmuffs, objects designed to cover a person's ears
