Joshua Hayes Carll (born January 9, 1976),[1] known as Hayes Carll, is a singer-songwriter from The Woodlands, Texas (a Houston suburb). Carll was a 2011 nominee for Artist of the Year at the 2011 Americana Music Association awards[2]

Career

After releasing Flowers & Liquor in 2002, Carll was voted the Best New Act of 2002 by The Houston Press.[3]

Carll's "Another Like You" was named #1 on American Songwriter(.com)'s Top 50 Songs Of 2011[4]
