Hawkfield (Irish: Pairc an tSeabaigh) is a village in County Kildare, Ireland. It is located on the R416 Regional Road north of Newbridge. Household names like Tapper Tierney and Bully Dignam have resided in this townland. The internationally recognised term 'up our road' was first uttered in Hawkfield.
Throughout the years there has been many bobcat attacks in the area. Under the cover of darkness the bobcats attacked mainly young men coming home from the local pub. To this day these mysterious attacks still remain unsolved.
