Hawally (Arabic: حولي) is one of the six governorates of Kuwait, consisting of the following districts:[1]
- Hawalli, also the capital of Hawalli Governorate
- Surra
- Bayan
- Mishref
- Jabriya
- Rumaithiya
- Salmiya
- Salwa
- Shaar
The current governor of the Hawally governorate is Abdullah Abdulrahman Al Fares.
A 2005 estimate reports the population of Hawally to be 393,861 (source:[2]).
