Geography

Ancient chapel

The Galaure flows southwest through the middle of the commune. It is home to Ferdinand Cheval's self-made Ideal Palace.

Cheval's "Palais Idéal". The signs on the right read "Travail d'un seul homme" (Work of only one man) and "Défense de rien toucher" (Touch nothing).
