Haunter (film)

Haunter is a 2013 Canadian supernatural thriller film, directed by Vincenzo Natali, starring Abigail Breslin. It was produced by Copperheart Entertainment and written by Brian King. The film premiered at the 2013 South by Southwest Film Festival, and was picked up for U.S. distribution there by IFC Midnight.[1]

Haunter was filmed in Toronto and Brantford Ontario Canada.

Synopsis

Lisa (Abigail Breslin) is the ghost of a teenage girl who is almost 16 who is stuck on the same day of her death in 1985 along with her parents and her brother, who are unaware of it. With the help of the spirits of other girls who were also killed in the same house, Lisa manages to overcome the evil spirit who subjected her to her curse and help save another teenage girl from suffering the same fate.
