Hasvik is a village in the municipality of Hasvik in Finnmark county, Norway. The village is located on the southwestern tip of the large island of Sørøya. The village lies about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) south of the municipal centre of Breivikbotn. The main church for the municipality, Hasvik Church, has been located here since the early 1700s.[3]

This village has Hasvik's only connections to the rest of Norway: Hasvik Airport and a car ferry to Øksfjord (in Loppa) on the mainland. The 0.57-square-kilometre (140-acre) village has a population (2012) of 366, which gives the village a population density of 642 inhabitants per square kilometre (1,660 /sq mi).[1]
