Hasrat Mohani Colony

Hasrat Mohani Colony (Urdu: حسرت موہانی کالونی ) is one of the neighbourhoods of Korangi Town in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.[1] This neighbourhood was named after the Urdu poet Maulana Hasrat Mohani.

There are several ethnic groups in Korangi including Muhajirs, Punjabis, Sindhis, Afghans, Pakhtuns, etc. Over 99% of the population is Muslim. The population of Korangi Town is estimated to be nearly one million.
