Hashatjin (Persian: هشجين, also Romanized as Hashatjīn and Heshajeyn, Heshajīn, and Heshīīn; also known as Hīshen, Shain, and Shein)[1] is a city in and the capital of the Khvoresh Rostam District, in Khalkhal County, Ardabil Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 4,518, in 1,199 families.[2]
