Harvey Lee Catchings (born September 2, 1951) is an American former professional basketball player.
He played in the NBA from 1974 to 1985 as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Nets, Milwaukee Bucks, and Los Angeles Clippers. He has NBA career averages of 3.2 points per game, 5.0 rebounds per game and 1.6 blocks per game.
Personal life
Catchings is the father of WNBA star Tamika Catchings, who currently plays for the Indiana Fever. Catchings is currently a Reverse Mortgage Consultant with Open Mortgage-North Houston.
