Haruka Ishida (石田 晴香 Ishida Haruka, born December 2, 1993 in Saitama Prefecture) is a Japanese singer, a member of the Japanese female idol group AKB48. She is in AKB48's Team B.[2]

Career

In the 2010 AKB48 17th single election, held in May–June 2010, Haruka Ishida placed 27th, with 3,235 votes.[3] In the first AKB48 rock-paper-scissors tournament, which took place in September 2010, she won the 2nd place and her first appearance on an A side of an AKB48's single.[4]

On December 2011, Haruka Ishida took part in the audition for a voice acting role in the TV animated series AKB0048. She was chosen out of 200 participants.[5] The anime also spawned a pop group consisting of the nine AKB48 members voice acting in it. The group sang the theme song of the series,[6][7] releasing it as a single. She appeared at the centre position of a coupling song from Manatsu no Sounds Good!; Gugutasu no Sora.[4] At AKB48's 2012 General election she ranked 50th, going on to appear in Show Fight from the group's 27th single.[8] On July 7, 2012, Haruka Ishida appeared as a guest commentator at the Nico Nico 4th Video Awards.[9][10]

Haruka Ishida currently co-hosts the variety show Dream Creator on TV Tokyo.[11]
