Haris Sohail (Punjabi, Urdu: حارث سهيل; born 9 January 1989) is a first-class Pakistani cricketer born in Sialkot, Pakistan, into the Soni tribe. He is a left-arm medium bowler who bats left-handed. He has represented Sialkot Stallions, Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited cricket team and Sialkot cricket team. He was selected for the Twenty20 International (T20I) series against Sri Lanka in 2012 and played for Sialkot Stallions in the 2012 edition of the Champions League T20 competition. In President trophy, Pakistan First Class tournament, he played for Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited and scored 2nd highest runs (673) with 4 Centuries at the healthy average of (134.60)in 5 matches after Umar Amin (767 in 9 matches) of Port Qasim Authority. In 2012–13 Faysal Bank T20 Cup, he performed well. He also was selected for India tour (2012-13) but could not play a game. He also was picked by Khulna Royal Bengal for 2013 Bangladesh Premier League where PAKISTAN CRICKET BOARD (PCB) refused to allow its players to participate in the League due to differences between both the boards. Pakistan's next series vs South Africa where he got picked again but he twisted his ankle during the test series and returned home. He missed Faisal Bank t20 Super 8 tournament 2012-13 due to injury but returned for President's Trophy One Day Cup 2012-13. In the match against SNGPL, he made 99 runs in a close contest. He also scored 56* Not Out Against PQA.[1][2][3]
