Hanus [ˈxanus] is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Płaska, within Augustów County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Belarus.[1] It lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) south-east of Płaska, 25 km (16 mi) east of Augustów, and 80 km (50 mi) north of the regional capital Białystok.
The settlement has a population of 20.
