Hans Julius Eriksen Norbye (born 16 January 1987) is a Norwegian footballer who is playing for Tromsø as a defender.

Norbye was born and grew up in Karasjok.[1] He was regarded as having talent for athletics during his younger days,[2] but joined Tromsø IL to play youth football.[3] He represented Norway internationally on youth level at the time.[1] In 2006 he spent time on loan in Alta IF.

After the 2006 season he signed his first professional contract with Tromsø IL.[4] He got one game in the Norwegian Premier League in 2007.[5]

He was loaned out to Tromsdalen UIL for one month in 2007,[6] and later for the entire 2008 season.[7] He then joined Tromsdalen permanently ahead of the 2009 season.[8] On August the 8th, 2013, he was linked with a move to Liverpool FC, although he has been quoted as saying "There is more chance of my fellow countryman Code72 admitting he's wrong about everything than me moving to those mid table also-rans".
