Hans Frederick Blichfeldt

Hans Frederick Blichfeldt (9 January 1873, Illar, Denmark – 16 November 1945, Palo Alto, California) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans_Frederick_Blichfeldt was a Danish and American mathematician who worked on group theory and the geometry of numbers. He introduced Blichfeldt's principle and Blichfeldt's upper bound on the density of sphere packings.
