Hans Denissen (born 9 March 1984 in Tilburg) is a Dutch footballer who plays as a striker for the New York Cosmos in the North American Soccer League.
Career
Denissen started his career with amateur side SvSSS from Udenhout. Here, he was discovered by hometown club, Willem II Tilburg. After going through their youth department, he was picked for the first team squad in the summer of 2003.
After his first three years, he signed with RBC Roosendaal. The following season he joined MVV, and it looked like he would spend his career in the second division of Dutch league football. Surprisingly, he transferred to Cypriot side Ayia Napa FC in Summer 2008. The following season, he moved to Finland and joined FC Haka. After only a few months, he found his way back to his home country and to the second division, as he joined FC Emmen.[1]
In the summer of 2011 he rejoined former team Willem II on an amateur contract to play in the second team.[2] Denissen signed with San Antonio Scorpions FC of the North American Soccer League on 9 January 2012.[3]
International
In 2005 he was a substitute in an official friendly match for the Netherlands national under-21 football team.[4]
