Most recently, the space played host to Minotaur - a critically acclaimed dining experience in the form of a Michelin Star pop-up restaurant and a unique collaboration of theatre, visual art, film and food. This was pioneered by Jenkinson, Kofler & Kompanie, Pret a Diner and gallerist Steve Lazarides.[10] In May 2012, the Clinton Foundation hosted a fundraiser at the Old Vic Tunnels. President Bill Clinton co-hosted the event with actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Black Eyed Peas singer will.i.am[11][12]

In 2011, the Old Vic Tunnels won the British Prime Minister’s “Big Society Award” for its successful Volunteer Scheme.[13]
