Hamburg Notation System
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Hamburg Sign Language Notation System, or HamNoSys, is a phonetic transcription system for sign languages, analogous to the IPA for oral languages.[1] First developed in 1985 at the University of Hamburg, Germany, it is currently in its fourth revision.
Unlike SignWriting and the Stokoe notation, it is not intended as a practical writing system.
