Hamburg-Hamm

Hamburg-Hamm is a quarter in the borough Hamburg-Mitte, in the eastern part of Hamburg, Germany. Once a popular garden suburb of rich traders it grew in the first half of the 20th century to one of the most populus quarters of Hamburg. In 2011 the poulation was 37.607.[1] between 1951 and 2010 Hamm was subdivided in three Quarters Hamm-Nord, -Mitte und -Süd (Hamm-North, -Middle, and South). Since the 1. January 2011 this subdivision is repealed and the three Quarters are combined to one Quarter. [2]
