Halton Gill is a hamlet and civil parish in the Yorkshire Dales in North Yorkshire, England. It is situated near Litton and another hamlet, Foxup.
The 2010 Sainsbury's Christmas advert was filmed in Halton Gill. Jane Cowan, a notable local geologist is widely credited with bringing the advert to Halton Gill.
Approaching Halton Gill from Pen-y-ghent
The Woman in Black (2012 film) used this location for its filming.
