Hallidie Plaza

Hallidie Plaza is the entrance to the Powell Street Station in San Francisco, California. The plaza also contains the Visitor Information Center, where the staff can provide information in 14 languages.

The Plaza was named after Andrew Smith Hallidie, who developed the world's first cable car system in 1873.
