Haliotis scalaris, common name the staircase abalone or the ridged ear abalone, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Haliotidae, the abalones.[1]

Description

The size of the shell varies between 60 mm and 100 mm.

Distribution

This marine species occurs off Western Australia and Southwest Australia.
