Haldibari is a village development committee in Jhapa District in the Mechi Zone of southeastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 6,407 people living in 1,167 individual households.[1]
Haldibari is 4 km from Chandragadhi and 7 km from Birtamod and the Mahendra Highway and approximately 5 km from the border with India.
There is one higher secondary school, four primary schools and two private schools.
