Hakimpur (Bengali: হাকিমপুর) is an Upazila of Dinajpur District in the Division of Rangpur, Bangladesh.
Geography
Hakimpur is located at 25°17′00″N 89°01′00″E / 25.2833°N 89.0167°E. It has 13,769 units of house hold and total area 99.92 km².
Demographics
As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Hakimpur has a population of 66875. Males constitute 51.22% of the population, and females 48.78%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 35649. Hakimpur has an average literacy rate of 30.1% (7+ years), better than the national average of 32.4%..[1]
