Haji Idress Palh, (Sindhi: حاجي ادريس پلهہ), was born in 1926 at Miranpur, Sindh, a small village in Naushahro Feroze Taluka, then part of Nawab Shah District.

Life

Haji Idress Palh studied in Taleem Balgan School, he became a social activist and was elected many times as a member of the union council.

Family

He have 7 children. One of his son died at a very young age. From his children one (daughter) Lives in Miranpur, 2 in Padidan named Haji Ismail and Abdul Fattah, 2 residing in Hyderabad named Abdul Razaque and Abdul Hakeem and one in Karachi named Abdul Sattar (all are married).

Work

He was one of the generation of Sindhi socialist that came to the literary forefront immediately, he was social politician in the area.
