Hairdressers Journal International is a weekly glossy magazine for the hairdressing industry, published in the UK by Reed Business Information.

The magazine has been in circulation for 125 years and is considered a trusted source of information for the industry.

Its contents include the latest styling techniques and fashions, product features, a celebrity style feature and the latest hairdressing industry news.

The editorial is led by Publisher and Editor-in-Chief Jayne Lewis-Orr and its Publishing Director is Simon Ferguson.

HJi

In April 2007, HJ launched its website HJi which gives the hairdressing community an online place to seek inspiration.

The focal point of the site is an image gallery with thousands of pictures of hairstyles, dating from the 1950s to the present day.

It also contains blogs, including a blog by British Hairdresser of the Year Andrew Barton, and a business blog.

British Hairdressing Awards

The Hairdressers Journal host the annual British Hairdressing Awards and the British Business Hairdressing Awards.

They are part of the Health and Beauty Group that also contains Hair and Beauty Salon monthly magazine and Salon Exhibitions.
