Hair Cuttery is a United States-based unisex hair salon, founded by Dennis and Anne Ratner in 1974.

The first salon opened in West Springfield, Virginia, and the enterprise has since expanded to become the largest privately held salon chain in the United States,[1] with locations up and down the East Coast, the Chicago metropolitan area, and the United Kingdom. One of the founders, Anne Ratner, was originally from Great Britain.

Privately held Ratner Companies operates Hair Cuttery (company-owned and franchised), BUBBLES, Salon Cielo and Spa, ColorWorks, and Salon Plaza. With nearly 1,000 salons, Ratner Companies supports more than 12,000 stylists across 14 states. Hair Cuttery competes with Supercuts, Fantastic Sams, Sport Clips, Great Clips and several other franchised hair salon businesses.
