Storylines

Background

Hagen von Lahnstein is the eldest child of Ludwig von Lahnstein. He has four younger siblings, Sebastian von Lahnstein, Helena von Lahnstein and Tristan von Lahnstein and Rebecca von Lahnstein. After the death of his mother, with his father supposedly dead as well, he refused to take care of his siblings, leaving the family and letting Sebastian do all the work.

Storylines

After he was gone for more than 10 years he returned to the family in early 2011 to help his father with his leukemia by donating his bone marrow, and stayed in the castle of Königsbrunn, starting a horse racing business. Hagen arrived with his fiancée Marlene Wolf, but during his marriage to Marlene he fell in love with her younger sister Dana Wolf. Hagen and Marlene divorced after Hagen had an affair with Dana.

Dana and Hagen become a couple and later married. Soon after, they decided to have a child but were saddened to learn that Dana couldn't have children. Hagen had a drunk one-night stand with Jessica Stiehl that further strained his relationship with Dana, but they eventually reconciled, and when they discovered Jessica had become pregnant with Hagen's child, the three of them decided to raise the child together.

In mid-2013, Hagen and his father Ludwig went missing during a storm in the Caribbean, and are presumed dead.
