Aykut Anhan (born 16 December 1985) known as Haftbefehl (meaning "arrest warrant" in German) is a German rapper[1] of Kurdish[2] descent born in Offenbach. He was signed to his own record label Azzlack, before he was signed to the label Echte Musik.

Biography

According to some accounts, Haftbefehl left school before graduating.[3] In 2006 he fled Istanbul to avoid serving a prison sentence for fraud and moved to the Netherlands, where he lived for a short time in Amsterdam and Arnheim. Around this time Haftbefehl wrote his first rap lyrics.[4] After returning to Offenbach, he began an apprenticeship in automotive mechatronics, which he quit after 3 weeks. He then opened a studio in Offenbacher Kaiserstraße and began to record his own rap songs. As the owner of Echte Musik, Jonesmann heard Haftbefehl for the first time and was impressed with his talent and was signed. On 28 October 2010, Haftbefehl's album Azzlack Stereotyp was released, which debuted at #59 in the German album charts.
