Hadfield Football Club is an Australian rules football club located 14 km north of Melbourne in the suburb of Hadfield. The Hadfield Community Youth Club was founded in 1961 and played at Reddish Reserve and wore green and gold.
H.C.Y.C established the Senior club in 1971 changing the colours to brown and gold vertical stripes and to be known as the Hawks and affiliated with the Essendon District Football League and remaining at Reddish Reserve in East Glenroy until the end of the 1987 season.
Hadfield won the Senior C Grade premiership in their first season.
