Hackelochloa is a genus of grass in the Poaceae family.
The genus was named after Eduard Hackel, an Austrian botanist, by Otto Kuntze, in 1891. It comprises two Asian species Hackelochloa granularis (L.) Kuntze and Hackelochloa porifera (Hack.) D. Rhind.
