HTL Buses[1] is a bus operator company based in Huyton in Merseyside, England.

History

Optare Vecta bodied MAN 11.190 in Liverpool in September 2007

The company originated as Huyton Taxis, assuming its present title in 1990. Having previously operated minibuses, it has expanded into local bus service work since the mid-2000s. HTL made significant increases to their fleet and routes operated during 2011 due to gaining many contracts from other operators.

Operations

The company operates one commercial service in Knowsley,[2] and in 2010 also began to operate commercially a group of four previously tendered circular services in south Liverpool and south Knowsley.[3] However, the majority of its local service work consists of tendered services, under contract to Merseytravel, the Integrated Passenger Transport Executive and Executive (ITA) for Merseyside.

Fleet

As at May 2013 the fleet consists of 62 buses.[4] Fleet livery is green with yellow lettering.
