The HSV Grange is a luxury performance sedan manufactured by Holden Special Vehicles together with the Australian car manufacturer of Holden, a subsidiary of General Motors. It has been described as a competitor to the BMW 7 Series and the Audi A8.[1] It is based on the Holden Caprice range.
E Series (2006–2013)
The E Series Grange uses a LS3 6.2 Litre Generation Four V8 engine, which produces 325 kW (436 hp) at 6000 rpm and 550 N·m (406 lb·ft) of torque at 4600 rpm so it will accelerate the car to 100 km/h in 5.05 seconds. The vehicle is heavily based on the Holden WM Caprice. HSV badges are positioned the car help differentiate it from the Caprice.[2]
The price of a Grange's A$82,990, which is A$13,000 more than a standard Caprice.[3]
F Series (2013-Present)
The F Series Grange has the same exterior as the E Series Grange but also getting the same interior as the VF Commodore based HSV GTS.
