HK Zemgale is an ice hockey team from Jelgava, Latvia. They play in the Latvian Hockey League.
History
The club was founded in 2001, and in 2002 and took part in the Latvian Hockey League. Their affiliate, Hanza / Zemgale Jelgava participated in the Latvian Second League (Pirma Liga).[1] In the 2002-03 season, the club took part in the Eastern European Hockey League Division B. The club then took part in the Latvian Hockey League until they folded in 2005.
