Höör is a locality and the seat of Höör Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden with 7,865 inhabitants in 2010.[1]

The unusual spelling with double "ö", was implemented by the Swedish postal service in the beginning of the 20th century. At that time it was common that, on local letters, the place of destination was replaced by the word "Här" (sw. for here). In order to avoid confusion the spelling of the name Hör was therefore changed to Höör.

The railway station in Höör is located on the line from Kristianstad to Malmö, making it quick and easy to commute. Also basically situated through the town is a large road leading north and south.
