Hämeenkoski (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈhæmeːŋˌkoski]; Koski Hl until 1995, see Koski Tl) is a municipality of Finland.

It is located in the province of Southern Finland and is part of the Päijänne Tavastia region. The municipality has a population of 2,093 (31 August 2013)[2] and covers an area of 195.62 square kilometres (75.53 sq mi) of which 7.86 km2 (3.03 sq mi) is water.[1] The population density is 11.15 inhabitants per square kilometre (28.9 /sq mi). The municipality is unilingually Finnish.

Lake Pääjärvi is situated at the border between Hämeenkoski and Hämeenlinna (formerly Lammi).
