Gymnothorax monochrous is a moray eel found in coral reefs in the Pacific and Indian oceans.[1] It was first named by Pieter Bleeker in 1856,[1] and is commonly known as the Drab moray, Brown moray, Monochrome moray, Monotone moray, or the Plain moray eel.[2]
