Gymnoscelis imparatalis is a moth in the Geometridae family. It is found from the Indo-Australian tropics east to the Society Islands and the Marquesas Archipelago.[2] The habitat consists of both lowland and montane ecosystems.

The wingspan is about 18 mm. Adults are ochreous, suffused with dark brown and rufous.[3]

The larvae have been recorded feeding on the young foliage and flowers of Mangifera, Tabernaemontana, Hodgsonia, Cinnamomum, Cassia, Fagraea, Memecylon, Pittosporaceae tristrigosa, Citrus and Nephelium species.
