Guyon Fernandez (born 18 April 1986) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a striker for Eredivisie club PEC Zwolle, on loan from Feyenoord.
Career
Born in The Hague, Fernandez began playing professional football with ADO Den Haag. He joined fellow Eerste Divisie club Excelsior Rotterdam a season later, and led the club to promotion as he scored 15 goals during the 2009–10 season.[1] In his first season in the Eredivisie, Fernandez was praised for his two-goal performance in a victory over local rivals Feyenoord.[2]
Fernandez has been the subject of interest from Romanian side Steaua Bucharest.[3]
In May 2011, it was announced that Fernandez would sign for Feyenoord at the start of the 2011-12 season.[4]
