Gura Căinarului

Gura Căinarului is a commune in Floreşti district, Moldova. It is composed of two villages, Gura Căinarului and Zarojeni.

Etymology

As of 1920, the town was also called Zerojeni.[1]

Economy

Historically, Gura Căinarului was known for sugar production. As of 1920, it's one factory was attacked by the Bolsheviks.[1]
