Gunville is a settlement on the Isle of Wight, off the south coast of England.
The village lies south of the A3054 road, near to the larger settlement of Carisbrooke. Gunville is approximately 1.25 miles (2.01 km) west of Newport. The name comes from Victorian times when the area was used to store ammunition, and the name was derived from Gun Village.
