Guntucky is an American television reality series produced by Leftfield Pictures.[1] Guntucky revolves around the Sumner family who own, as well as operate a gun range. The family keeps the gun range running for their customers by selling numerous legal firearms, from cannons to machine guns.[2] The series premiered on Country Music Television (CMT) on April 21, 2013.[1] The series was originally supposed to premiere on January 26, 2013, however the date was postponed to April 21, 2013 in respect to the victims in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.[3]

Background

The series follows the Sumner family who own, as well as operate the Knob Creek Gun Range, a gun range in Bullitt County, Kentucky.[2] The family's job is to keep the gun range running by selling numerous firearms, from cannons to machine guns.[2] Additionally, the family purchases guns from customers who come to the range.[2] Many of the episodes in the series follow a similar format.
