Gundugolanu is a village under Bhimadole mandal in West Godavari District in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.

Gundugolanu is a Village which is located 15 km away from Eluru Town in West Godavari District. Dwaraka Tirumala an ancient holy Lord Sri Venkaswara's temple situated at 25 km distance from Gundugolanu.Gundugolanu village is under Panchayats system. There are other small villages located near this Gundugolanu village, People in this village mainly cultivate Rice.We can see Temples in this village Shivalayam, Venkateswara Temple, subrahmanyaswamy temple, Anjaneyaswamy Temple, Sri Ramalayam temple, Sri Shiridi Sai Baba Temple.At The Entrance of Gundugolanu it is having an Arch Bridge constructed over Right canal of godavari River.The life of the bridge is approximately 140 years.

Sri Ramalayam temple is of Seetha Ramachandra swamy, Lakshmana swamy, Lord Hanuman and Sri krishna. Temple is said be 500 years old and is very pleasant and believed to be powerful temple.Sree Hanuman is also present in this temple.Sree Rama navami is celebrated every year by the people of this village with at most devotion. Sri Rama Navami is celebrated every year in a grand way. On Rama Navami day Sitarama Kalyanam is performed.One can also see Sri Krishna idol in this temple. And with a beautiful garden around.

Gundugolanu is the birth place of Dr Bhogaraju Pattabhi Sitaramayya a renowned Freedom Fighter and a very illustrious personality and the founder of Andhra Bank. We can find the status of Dr Bhogaraju Pattabhi Sitaramayya in the village. The village even has a Branch of Andhra Bank which is the only nationalised bank in the village.
