Guapiara

Coordinates: 24°11′06″S 48°31′58″W / 24.18500°S 48.53278°W / -24.18500; -48.53278 Guapiara is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. Its population in 2004 was of 20,467 inhabitants. Its area is of 408.52 km², and its elevation of 750 m. The name "Guapiara" comes from the Tupi language.
