Grintovec pri Osilnici (German: Grintouz)[2] is a small settlement on the left bank of the Kolpa River in the Municipality of Osilnica in southern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia statistical region.[3]
Name
The name of the settlement was changed from Grintovec to Grintovec pri Osilnici in 1953.[4] In the 19th century the German name was Grintouz.[2]
