Grindie

Grindie is a form of music that emerged in early 2006. It is a fusion of both indie or alternative and grime music.[1]

History

Grime producer Statik is one of the main proponents of the genre and also one of the first to release an album containing only grindie tracks, on Grindie Vol. 1.[1][2]
