Physiology

Leaves - oval, rounded at base, blunty pointed apex, margins serrate to dentate, rough with stellate hair.

Trunk - much-branched, twiggy, young parts stellate pubescent.

Flowers - yellowish white, stellate tomentose pedicel; in axillary, or supraaxillary or oppositifolious umbellate cymes.

Fruit - dark yellow, subglobose, depressed, somewhat bristly, slightly 4-lobed fleshy drupe.
